Cockatoo Rise Retreat
Malcolm (Wally) Inwood
Tom (Tex) Bruce travelled with Leane Watkins to Parachilna Gorge in South Australia’s Flinder’s Ranges on 26 May to scatter the ashes of Malcolm Inwood known as Wally but also referred to as Wally Hotpiss.
Leane took a photo of Tex at the site and commented “A truly meaningful day I’ll love for ever.”
Canberra Reunion update
As of 12 June 202 people have indicated they are attending the reunion with another 40 maybe able to attend. Giving us 240 possible attendees we are well on our way to reaching our maximum of 300. Use the link to see who has replied to our email/sms traffic.

The Group currently has 70 members as 15 May 2018, there must be more “niners” out there than just these 70. Past members, NOK, friends, family and supporter of 9 RAR are welcome to come on board.
The Group is for “A group of people who served with or are friends of members of the 9th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment.”
