4719565 LCpl Richard Abraham a National Serviceman from Whyalla, South Australia, was KIA on 6th July, 1969.  A member of 10 Platoon D Company 9 RAR, he was killed by the enemy during the withdrawal from a night ambush position during Operation Matthew in South Vietnam.

Pte. Malcolm Spice 10 Platoon D Company was WIA in the same incident.
