 43528 Corporal Allan (‘Midge’) Graham was born in Paddington, NSW.  Ex 4 RAR and already a Malayan veteran, he died of wounds aged 22 years, after 5 Platoon, B Company, was ambushed by the enemy during the morning of 6th January, 1969.  This was during Operation Goodwood in the Hat Dich area, 30 km n.w. of Nuit Dat.
